| Developing International Partnerships Exscitec are delighted to be working with Uniscience Limited UAE to promote STEM learning in the Middle East. At a recent event in the Jeddah Science Centre, students have been working on activities designed by Exscitec, which investigate the Mers-Corona Virus, raising knowledge and Public Awareness of this respiratory syndrome. By using video and remote training, Exscitec were able to train leaders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling them to lead students through the three activities. Alan West MBE of Exscitec said “It has been a pleasure to work with Uniscience and to share our STEM expertise and pedagogical approaches with STEM educators in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The remote training has enabled our team to provide immediate STEM support and mentoring which otherwise would not have been possible within the timescales of the project”. |
